Bath Football Club, founded in 1865, is one of the oldest clubs in Rugby.
Over the years many of its players have reached international status, representing their countries in matches all over the world.

Castle Cary Rugby Union Football Club was established in October, 1888
The Club has gone from strength to strength and is widely regarded as one of the friendliest and best-run in Somerset.
Chard RFC was formed in 1876 and is one of the oldest established clubs in Somerset.
Since the introduction of League Rugby the Club 1st XV won the Somerset Division 3 title in season 1991/2, The Somerset Division 1 title in 1995/6 and again in 2002/03.

Midsomer Norton Rugby Club Ltd was established in 1936.
It is located on the outskirts of Norton Down where it has a three excellent pitches, a floodlit training area, clubhouse and large carpark.
Currently playing rugby in South West 2, Taunton Rugby Football Club was formed in 1875.
The club currently runs 3 senior XVs, colts, juniors (U13 > U16), mini and midi rugby (U8 > U12), ladies and the Never Say Die veterans.
