One of the largest and most successful clubs in the SW.

Playing in National League SW and Dorset and Wilts we have 4 senior teams and a very successful youth and mini section with over 350 young and enthusiastic players.

We also have 2 academies freely open to all local players whatever their club.

Rugby Football came early to Dorchester, the first Club being formed in 1871 – a year ahead of the Rugby Football Union.

The club was reformed in 1934 after being disbanded during the first World war.

Founded in 2003, East Dorset are a new side based near Christchurch.

East Dorset play in Hampshire 1 having ben promoted two seasons on the trot.

Lytchett Minster Rugby Club is located off of the A35, just outside Poole in Dorset. Detailed below are directions when approaching Lytchett Minster from both the `East` and the `North`.

Bournemouth Oakmeadians Rugby Football Club can be found in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth, one of England`s finest parks within England`s premier holiday resorts on the South coast.

Surrounded by woodland, and only five minutes walk from the centre of the town.

Sherborne RFC is a young, vibrant club, having only been established in 1980.

Renowned as a friendly and hospitable club, Sherbornes emphasis on enjoyment, involvement and good sportsmanship is reflected in the youngest of our teams.

Today Sherborne Rugby Football Club has approaching 400 registered members and players. Some three quarters of whom are within the junior section. With such numbers of juniors coming through the system the future of the game in Sherborne looks very secure.

We field teams in SW 1 and Dorset and Wilts leagues.

We have a thriving Youth & Mini Section with players ranging from U7 to U16, and we have just started our own girls section, with two age groups represented - U15 and U18.

A friendly, community focussed club north of Bournemouth.

We field 2 senior teams, with the 1st XV in Dorset & Wilts league Division 3 South, and have ambitions and a plan to significantly expand the club in the next 5 years, to include ladies & junior sides.

We have a thriving social schedule, and draw players from all over the Bournemouth & East Dorset area.

Training is on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 7pm throughout the season, and you may find on the beach during the summer pre-season period.
