Broad Plain were founded in 1909. In recent years the team has used various sports grounds in Bristol, but recently put down roots at a new purpose built facility in Bedminster, including an excellent new clubhouse, and floodlit pitches.
The Club works hard with local schools to promote youth rugby, and has a large and growing youth section of its own.

The club was founded on 20th March 1969 formerly known as Chew Valley Old Boys Rugby Football Club.
The clubhouse was extended in 2008 to provide fantastic new bar and kitchen facilities.
They now have a total of five full sized pitches, with floodlighting on one for evening training throughout the season.
